Marc Marquez

Marc Marquez lost big in a Spanish Grand Prix at Jerez which kept all its promises. The eight-time World Champion initially avoided a first fall at high speed with the dexterity that we know him to have. Thrown back to the back of the peloton, he embarked on a formidable and almost embarrassing comeback for his direct opponents. Marc Marquez was the only one with fabio quartararo to turn in the 1'38 zone after the halfway point. But while the Frenchman was able to begin to manage a perfectly controlled race, the Spaniard had to continue to work hard to recover from a first mistake at turn 4 which placed him sixteenth. Wanting to attack the place of dolphin of Casa Particular in Viñales, he lost control of his Honda at turn 3. The antics was spectacular. Ejected from his machine, he fell heavily on the asphalt before sliding towards the gravel trap. And the impression was not accidental…

He is expected to be transferred to Barcelona to undergo an operation.

If all this is confirmed, this injury would jeopardize his participation in next week's Andalusian Grand Prix still at Jerez. This would complicate his fight for a new world championship in a very short schedule in which, according to Marc Márquez himself, the important thing is not to get hurt...
