Barely got off his Ducati GP20 from the Pramac Racing team after getting third place on the starting grid for the Andalusian Grand Prix in Jerez, Francesco Bagnaia confided in front of the site camera MotoGP.com with the joy of having obtained his first front row in MotoGP, even if the Italian rider thinks he could have done even better…

Pecco, what superb work! Tell us about the lap that gave you your first front row start on a MotoGP grid…

Francis Bagnaia : " I am happy ! I think we are working very, very well, even better than last week. We had already started well last week but we worked more on the pace during this one because we already knew what it took to attack the clock. So we concentrated more on doing laps on the worn tires and we took a big step forward compared to last week. But the conditions are very difficult because it is warmer than last week, there is less grip. So I made a mistake in the first corner of my last lap, and maybe if I hadn't made that mistake I would be in pole position. But I'm very happy with this result because starting from the first row is always something great. »
