In MotoGP, Johann Zarco rides for Honda without exchanging partners with Mir and Marini.

Unlike what happens at Ducati, Johann Zarco admits that he doesn't particularly communicate with the other Honda riders.

Unlike what happens at Ducati, Johann Zarco admits that he doesn't interact much with the other Honda riders.

Johann zarco has had a very good start to the season on the RC213V, which has improved significantly compared to recent years. The Honda riders finally get their heads above water, even if there is still a long way to go to definitively return to the front and fight for victory. Everyone knows this, but during the first three Grands Prix, we have seen each of them fight in the top 10, except for the rookie Somkiat Chantra who is discovering the category.

Si Johann zarco and Joan Mir have found their marks faster than Luca Marini during the first two race weekends, the Italian reversed the trend in Austin 15 days ago by finishing in the top 10. In the championship, he is closely following the Frenchman, who is seventh, with ninth place, while the Spaniard is further back, in 15th place due to several crashes. While one might think that they exchange a lot between them in order to compare their feelings and thus try to understand where to gain speed, in reality this is not the case.

"At some point, when we're really struggling, we can talk, but in reality, we don't have exactly the same feelings. Our bikes aren't set up the same way either. Sometimes if we talk, we'll be surprised by what the others felt. We agree on some things but not on others, and the weekends go by too quickly to be able to sit down.", said Johann Zarco.

“It’s true that the Italians from VR46 meet up in the evening and talk among themselves, but I’ve done so much of everything alone that even with Fabio [Quartararo], with whom I could share because he’s French, [I don’t share because] he’s still a Yamaha rider. The information we can share, we know we can pass it on to the manufacturers, so we avoid that. I’ve always been very solitary, even if I like to share with the youngest« , he added.
