In 2022, Jorge Martínez “Aspar” acquired, with a group of investors including Juan Roig, banker Paul Gomero and Grupo Ática, the Guadassuar circuit, which is now called Aspar Circuit .
Located about twenty kilometers south of Valencia, in a region that has been at the heart of urban racing in Spain, the infrastructure was until now called Circuit de la Ribera and had been closed since 2019, following numerous disagreements between the municipality and the former owner.
The 350 square meter complex is divided into four zones, a main circuit of 2 meters, an karting circuit of 200 meters, a dirt track of 850 meters, an asphalt surface of 1 meters for Aspar KSB Sport, and even a museum dedicated to the quadruple champion of the world in 100 and 18cc, including a double in 000, which now lines up, after having made a foray into MotoGP, Jake Dixon and Izan Guevara in Moto80, as well as David Alonso and Joel Eseban Moto125, under the CFMOTO colors.
Open since May 15, the infrastructure will be inaugurated this evening in the presence of some personalities from the speed motorcycling competition.
Jorge Martínez “Aspar”, CEO Aspar Circuit: “This is one of the most important days of my life. I made my debut 45 years ago in Guadassuar, so opening the Aspar circuit here is a dream come true. I hope that all motorcycle, car and kart fans will come and enjoy the world's first motorcycling academy. »
Julio García, general director of the circuit: “Being part of this project is a source of pride for me, as well as a great challenge. Our variety of tracks makes us a unique circuit in the world. I hope that the Aspar circuit will become the new home for all engine fans. We are waiting for you ! »
