Having left Ducati, he began a season with a third manufacturer, Honda, where he decided to face the master of the place and the rider of the moment: Marc Márquez. He arrived in Qatar with a convalescing scaphoid and left after two falls with a cracked rib. But he also collected the two points for thirteenth place aboard his Honda. And I said publicly that I didn't want to mythologize Valentino Rossi, that no one was unbeatable. Maybe that's why people consider me arrogant, but I don't fear anything or anyone ».

This limits me, because I don't want to fall, I'm a little more careful, I give less acceleration or front brakes, I don't want to hurt myself » specifies Por Fuera who, at the moment, is not at the party.

The five-time winner also has a style on the track that gave him a hammer when he said: “ I like competitions where I can set my pace, because one of my qualities is to be very precise ". In the paddock, the one who admits that his most exciting title to win was that of 2010, and the hardest his third in 2015, approaches the relationship with his colleagues as follows: “ do your best, always surpass yourself, respect other drivers, because we are at risk for our lives, excessive risk makes no sense. You may like one person more, there are people you have more affinity with than others, but I don't hate anyone ».

A head therefore well made and which was formed from a very young age: “ motorcycling is my passion. When you are a kid, you always dream of being a striker or an actor. But when I was living and not sleeping, it was always clear to me that my goal was to be a world champion. You believe in your potential and you are confident in yourself, but until you become confident, you think: "Can I do it or not?" ". When you've done it, you know you can be it.
