After his 2 resounding victories at Mugello and Barcelona, Jorge Lorenzo experienced a slight drop in performance by finishing 7th and 6th at Assen and at the Sachsenring.

During his vacation which began with a particularly cautious participation in World Ducati Week which took place last weekend on the Misano Adriatico circuit, the Ducati rider was able to perfect his physical condition, after a break of a few days, to try to shine on a Moravian circuit which saw him win twice , in 2 and 2010, and reaching the podium 2015 other times during these 3 participations.

During last year's race, the Mallorcan rider was unlucky as after leading the first three laps, a problem during his pit stop to change bikes forced him to settle for fifteenth place in the General classification.

This year, the objective will be completely different for the one who has just made a lightning comeback to 6th place in the world championship rankings: “After a few days of rest, we arrive in Brno with our batteries recharged and with great expectations. It's one of the circuits where I feel most comfortable and I'm sure we will be much stronger than at Assen and the Sachsenring. Brno is the ideal circuit to start the second half of the season and I think we will be competitive from day one. I can't wait to get back on track, and I'm sure we'll have a lot of fun."
