After the accident, Martin was taken to Barcelona for surgery, led by specialist Xavier Mir. The operation on his finger was successful, and the rider avoided a second operation on his foot. When he arrived at the hospital, he reassured his fans that he felt fine despite the violent blow and that he intended to recover quickly.

Although the incident was a setback, Martin maintained a positive attitude, saying he was confident in the work of his team and in particular his teammate Marco Bezzecchi. He expressed his desire to return to the track quickly and continue to progress. The return of Martin is expected for the season opener at the Thailand Grand Prix at the end of February, although his recovery schedule may be adjusted depending on his recovery.
