Peter Acosta

Pedro Acosta still has everything to do to achieve the feat of making history as the rookie who was crowned entry into Moto3. But in eleven races, the young 17-year-old Spaniard has already made an impression. At the head of five victories and demonstrating an approach to racing that is unanimous, his future seems assured, so much does he arouse covetousness. KTM knows this and after having anchored Raul Fernandez in its family, the Austrian brand is tightening the meshes of the net to make it impossible for the fisherman's son to escape. So, with a contract until 2024…

At KTM, Brad Binder is apparently no longer the only one to have a contract until 2024. Peter Acosta would also be in this case according to Motorsport.com. With a well-marked journey: two years of Moto2 in 2022 and 2023, then an entry into MotoGP on an RC16 in 2024.

Pedro Acosta is already assured of a royal road to MotoGP

We know that next year, the partner team Tech3 will have in its ranks the current teammates at Ajo in Moto2 who are Remy gardner et Raul fernandez. A duo currently in a duel for the world title in their category. The place being thus freed, Peter Acosta would settle on the Kalex Triumph in KTM colors and it should be joined by Augusto Fernandez, taken from Marc VDS Racing.

So much for the rumor knowing all the same that a certain Sergio Garcia still has every chance and clearly the potential to not make this Moto3 campaign a formality for Peter Acosta...
