Marc Marquez's future in the MotoGP paddock is at the center of discussions, with several possible scenarios looking ahead to 2025. After leaving Honda for Ducati via the Gresini team, Marquez appears to be regaining his competitive rhythm, sparking speculation about his next move. The question now arises as to whether Mac Marquez would consider staying with Gresini or seeking to join an official team, with Ducati seeming a distant option given the internal competition… For the moment.

One possibility that gains credibility is that of KTM, supported by the same sponsor as Marquez, Red Bull. Although Peter Acosta seems destined to move up within the group KTM, the idea of attracting a pilot of the caliber of Marquez should not be ruled out. “ KTM would be wise to try to recruit Marquez. However, other teams MotoGP as Aprilia et Yamaha seem less likely as future destinations for Marc Marquez, Honda also seeming out of the question. “ It seems unlikely that Marquez will return to Honda without significant changes. The bike is currently the least competitive in the field,” adds Lorenzo.
Lorenzo underlines the particular appeal of KTM for Marc Marquez, both in terms of style compatibility and opportunities. “ KTM could prove to be a better fit for Marquez than Ducati. A change of team would not be an obstacle for a driver of his caliber. I don't see him continuing at Gresini for another year,” he concludes, suggesting that a movement towards KTM could be both logical and beneficial for all parties involved.
