KTM is preparing the presentation of its troops and is giving us, this time officially, an appointment on February 12. The brand has already flooded the web with its new pair of factory pilots, but this time, it's the whole family together who will be delighted to show off their new colors. Which means Tech3 will be there. All for a new stage as mentioned in order to gain further height in the rankings even if the drink which gives wings will no longer be there...
The date of 12 February is not really a revelation because the rumor had already bet on her to see the news RC16. But it is the organization of the event that attracts attention since Tech3 will be on the board. Or the French team which brought two of the three successes that the Austrian brand has to its list of achievements MotoGP.
An assessment which recalls the beautiful 2020 campaign for the Styrian trigram who grew wings despite the loss of Red Bull on the fairings. The big boss Stefan pierer has his head in the clouds dreaming of a title while his sports director Pit Beirer would already be satisfied with regular podiums. But the generally shared idea is to do better than last year, and this “next level” is therefore indicative of the state of mind of the Austrians.
KTM presents itself as a family
La KTM RC16 will be one of the few MotoGP to be able to play with a new engine, the fruit of the concessions of the regulations which the manufacturer enjoyed until then. It will have to be good because now the brand is in the same boat as its four other rivals.
The date is for 10h on the web, an essential imperative in this world after. Brad Binder et Miguel Oliveira, who won at KTM the first three victories in MotoGP last year, as well as the Tech3 line-up with Iker Lecuona and the newcomer Danilo Petrucci will be looking their best.
