The management of KTM has confirmed that it is in discussions with external investors to bolster the financing of its MotoGP team. The idea is not to abandon the sport, but rather to ensure its survival and growth in an increasingly expensive environment: technical involvement, increased competition, and new regulations on the horizon.

In the plans mentioned, KTM would be ready to concede a minority stake (around 30%) to a financial partner, while retaining operational control of its MotoGP project.
