Nicky Hayden has been gone since a fatal road accident in 2017. And we miss him terribly. Always positive, with a devastating smile, the one who was MotoGP World Champion in 2006 carried the star-spangled banner high. The new world is so grateful to him that it has made him immortal.

The induction ceremony was held at the Hilton Columbus/Polaris, Ohio. “ Each of these pilots, through what they did, inspired our lives“, said one of the presenters, Perry King, during the evening. Two motorcycles were also shown to celebrate the memory of the unfortunate Hayden : a 1000 Honda CBR2018RR in Repsol Honda livery and a 650 Honda American Motorcycle Heritage Foundation.

Many of his idols and heroes that he looked up to as a child are members of the AMA Hall of Fame. I know that from up there, he is happy to join them in the AMA Pantheon.”
