LCR Honda Team unveiled its colours for the 2025 season at a highly anticipated event in Thailand. With Johann Zarco and rookie Somkiat Chantra, the team has big ambitions.

At the official launch of the team LCR Honda for season 2025, Lucio Cecchinello, the team owner, expressed high expectations for the new year, stressing the goal of fighting for the top 10 or even higher. This presentation took place in Thailand, the home country of Somkiat Chantra, the first Thai driver to compete in MotoGP.

Somkiat Chantra, who will start his first season in MotoGP, was obviously very moved to present his team in his home country. It was really nice for me to come home. There are so many fans here, I love it. It's really nice." said the young driver. He added that he hopes to see as many fans as possible at the Thailand Grand Prix à Buriram. " It's a dream come true for me. I want to give my all this year" he shared enthusiastically.

The team's second driver, Johann zarco, is a pillar for Honda LCR, and alchemy with Chantra already looks solid. The Frenchman expressed his pleasure at seeing a new talent join the team: " It's great to have Somkiat on board, especially here in Thailand. I'm starting to know him better, he's really nice. Having the first race in Thailand is great because the spectators will be really euphoric."

zarco, who has remained with the LCR team for another season, spoke about his progress during the testing at Sepang : " we have made some progress. We are taking small steps, but at least we are taking steps. Experience helps us control the situation. I hope we can confirm a nice place in the top 10 in Thailand then progress from there. » The French rider also shared his love for his bike, adding: “ it feels a bit like last year. I was in love with this bike last year and I see I still am. The colors are cool and the leather suit really goes well with it"

LCR Honda team owner, Lucio Cecchinello expressed optimism for the 2025 season, welcoming the progress made so far: “ we feel more ready to fight for the top 10 and Our goal is definitely to fight for the top 5 at the end of the season. We are very pleased with the progress made." Cecchinello particularly appreciates the combination of zarco, an experienced pilot, and Chantra, a young talent, whom he considers an investment for the future.

I wish the entire Honda LCR therefore displays clear ambitions for 2025, and with drivers like zarco et Chantra, she hopes not only to reach the top 10 but also to aim higher at the end of the season. Thailand Grand Prix in Buriram, scheduled for February 28 to March 2, will mark the start of an exciting season where Honda LCR hopes to stand out in the fight for the top spots.
