With the new Finnish GP taking place on July 12, the World Championship calendar next year will include 20 events. After the inaugural race which will traditionally take place at night in Qatar (March 8), the teams will no longer head to the United States, but to Thailand on the Buriram circuit.

The teams will then travel to Texas, then to Argentina. The Spanish Grand Prix will begin the European tour on May 3, then on Grand Prix of France will take place at Le Mans on May 17.

There will then come two consecutive Grand Prix one week apart at Mugello and in Montmeló. The German and Dutch Grands Prix will follow again seven days apart, but with their dates reversed compared to previous years.

After Finland, the European series will continue at Brno, Red Bull Ring, Silverstone, Misano and Aragón. The overseas tour will begin in mid-October, with the order retained, namely: Motegi, Phillip Island and Sepang.

The grand finale will take place as usual at the Ricardo Tormo circuit in Valencia on November 15.

Five series of official tests will also be on the program in Losail, Buriram, Austin, Termas de Rio Hondo and Jerez.
