A major earthquake of magnitude 6,2 shook central Italy on Wednesday August 24 around 3:30 a.m. A natural disaster which resulted in numerous human tragedies. The Grand Prix world is getting involved and showing solidarity.

The toll is now 290 victims after this earthquake which razed several Italian villages. Including 230 for the village of Amatrice alone. Its epicenter was located 10 km southeast of Norcia, a town in the Umbria region, about 150 km northeast of Rome. It is also the region of a certain Roman Fenati who was not the last to make himself available to the rescuers mobilized to help those who could still be spared.

Mourning is national in Italy and goodwill is welcome to further support the efforts of those facing this major crisis.

This will be the case for the Forward team which will display according to GPone colors calling for giving to the red cross next weekend at Silverstone. An initiative that deserves to be highlighted. It will be remembered that the two drivers of the team come from the VR46 academy: Luca Marini et Lorenzo Baldassarri.
