At the end of the race, Álex Rins gave his helmet to the track marshals. It will be delivered to the family of the unfortunate commissioner who died last Friday.

Alex Rins was the author of a nice gesture at the end of the race. As soon as the Le Mans round was over, the Suzuki rider left his helmet with the track marshals, stopping right in the area where one of them had a fatal attack on Friday ( see here ). The helmet will be delivered to the family of the deceased commissioner. A way of paying tribute to all these people who, always working behind the scenes, nevertheless constitute a fundamental element of a risky sport.

A generous thought ofAlex Rins, who had a difficult weekend. Only 19th in qualifying, the best rider of the Suzuki Ecstar team benefited in part from the incidents that occurred during the reconnaissance lap to his colleagues Mir and Abraham. He then had to make a complex return, with numerous overtakes which did not spare his soft tires. This final tenth place takes him away from the championship: he is now 3rd, 20 points behind leader Márquez.
