Tuesday, January 9, the annual press conference organized by the French Motorcycling Federation (FFM) was held in the sumptuous setting of the Gaîté-Lyrique, a Parisian performance hall initially erected during the 18th century.

We will of course come back in detail on this event because federal work concerns us all, simple biker or driver, but as Grand Prix enthusiasts we could only appreciate the special tip of the hat given to Johann zarco for his first victory in MotoGP. It was an equally won over audience who rewatched the images of his success in Australia before listening to the following message sent by the LCR pilot currently in Spain.

The sound of this video captured in haste with a mobile phone is not excellent, we report the text below, noting that Johann Zarco will always be Johann Zarco, always taking an interest in drivers from other categories, including of course the young hopefuls selected by the FFM of which he is the ambassador.

Johann zarco  : " Hello everyone ! I'm in Spain and I'm going to quickly come back to 2023: I checked all the boxes, with podiums and this victory that we expected, and a nice top 5. A top 5 in a championship is always good too pupil. And then the little ones who are starting to arrive in strength, but we must not be impatient because they are young and there is still a way to go with the entry into the Grands Prix at 18 years old now, with some exceptions. So, the way to supervise them, the best possible way, is also to find the best solutions so as not to waste the money. It's a bit of everything that is put in place and in which I try to be able to help by being an ambassador. It's a role that I like. But also lots of other fast drivers: the contract that I have with Honda this year also allows me to get closer to the endurance drivers, to the drivers of the French championship and almost to return a little more to these races where there are lots of enthusiasts, but less media. So, I'm happy to open up a little, to see what's happening and to be able to share these technical moments with all these drivers. So I wish you a good day, a good conference, and I hope that on the Honda it will perform well all year long. Hi ! »
