During this troubled period, many of you sent us messages to ask us for information regarding the 2020 French Grand Prix.

Will our national event take place? When ? Will it take place behind closed doors? Will purchased tickets be refunded?

Over the weeks, privately or in public, we responded to you with the scraps of information we had but, since this week, the situation of the event organized by Claude Michy has become significantly clearer.

So, it may be useful to summarize the situation:

- Yes, the 2020 French Grand Prix will take place, if the prefect of Sarthe authorizes it. To date, this does not seem to be in doubt and only a second wave of the Covid-19 pandemic could call this state of affairs into question.

- The date is set for the weekend of October 11.

- Concerning the presence of the public, all solutions are currently still possible, ranging from an event taking place behind closed doors to an unlimited audience, including a limited number of spectators. This will depend above all on the regulations in force in October, but demonstrations are already currently authorized for up to 5 people (until August 000, 31), or even more in public spaces as long as the barrier measures are respected, allow us to hope for an even better situation in autumn…

- Finally, those who have already purchased or will purchase their ticket will have total freedom, between use on the weekend of October 11, a postponement until next year in May or a complete refund. Please note that this last solution was not provided for in the general conditions of sale if there was no cancellation of the event.

So it’s a nice gesture on the part of Claude Michy which in return deserves that the public continues to invest by purchasing tickets, without financial risk remember, which will be used for the 2020 French Grand Prix or at worst in 2021.
