Raul Fernandez continues to suffer from right arm problems. The pilot of the RNF Aprilia had great difficulty finishing the Jerez Grand Prix, and finally crossed the finish line in fifteenth position. By the third or fourth round, I was almost asking for the time,” he joked.
Fernández was very grateful to his team. “ It's true that in the end, the team is very close to me and they understand me perfectly. And it's something that they gave me my time, but it's true that we worked well. We needed a day like this to understand some things and today, even though we worked in difficult conditions because of my arm, we worked well. »
The positive thing is that the Spaniard didn't have to waste too much time between runs. “I think the problem we have today, because we don't have the tension of the race, is what I forced yesterday. I forced a lot. With twelve laps to go, I almost burst into tears. I told myself I had to get off the bike and stop. But it's true that I pushed, and today, in the morning, I didn't have the strength until I warmed up well. And then, that's how it is. It is the characteristic of our sport,” he said.
