The Avintia team has announced a new rider in its team who joins the one who is already in the walls in MotoGP and the other who confirmed his fate a little earlier for Moto3. However, are the squads of Raúl Romero and Ruben Xaus complete? That’s the whole question that keeps this winter soap opera alive…

Avintia Esponsorama Racing has formalized a new driver. But to be honest, it's frankly not what we were hoping for... We are still waiting for the contract signed by a Johann zarco whose fate according to Claude Michy should have only been a matter of hours for weeks already... The Frenchman wants technical assurances thatAvintia can only get from Ducati who says that this matter is to be settled between its future satellite team formerly a simple client and the rider. Who will give in first?

Waiting, Xavier Cardelús, who is only 21 years old, is the new elected official. He competed in the 2019 Moto2 World Championship season with the Ángel Nieto team. In 2018 he completed a total of 13 races in the intermediate category, 7 with the Stylobike team and the last 6 with the Marinelli Snipers team in 2017. He participated in the Supersport World Championship and in 2015 he participated in the FIM CEV Moto2 European Championship.

For the 2020 World Championship, Cardelus will face a new challenge in his professional career with Avintia Esponsorama Racing which makes its debut in the MotoE World Cup.

With Carlos Tatay in the Moto3 category, the team's numbers are practically fixed for the next 2020 season. All that remains is to confirm the name of the new rider who will share the MotoGP box with Tito Rabat...
