This year, PETRONAS Sepang Racing Team will officially unveil its MotoGP team during a virtual launch on March 1, at 10:30 a.m. on the team's official YouTube channel, as well as on MotoGP.com.
The MotoGP vice-champion Franco Morbidelli, who has been part of the team since its creation in 2019, and Valentino Rossi, nine times World Champion, will be the protagonists of this launch. They will remove the covers from their Yamaha YZR-M1s to reveal the 2021 livery.
Additionally, Moto2 representatives from PETRONAS Sprinta Racing, Xavi Verge et Jake dixon, as well as the Moto3 riders John mcphee et Darryn binder, will also be present during the virtual launch.
The Malaysian team, which has only been in the premier class for two years, has already shown that it is a force to be reckoned with in the MotoGP paddock, frequently challenging the established order.
The PETRONAS Yamaha Sepang Racing Team's impressive stats include back-to-back titles as an independent team and independent rider, with 6 wins, 15 podiums and 12 pole positions.
