The organizers of the Grand Prix de la Comunitat Valenciana have decided to honor Dani Pedrosa by featuring him alone on the official poster of the event.
Not only because the man from Sabadell will do his last MotoGP race before retiring in Valencia, but also because he has achieved the most victories and podiums there.
Le Ricardo Tormo Tour therefore launched the process to choose the poster between the three creations presented on the official website of the Circuit www.circuitricardotormo.com . Users must vote for one of three possibilities. Three winners will be drawn at random from among the participants and rewarded with the following prizes: two VIP passes, two pit grandstand tickets and two yellow grandstand tickets.
The deadline to choose the winning poster will be Wednesday, September 12. One day later, the name of each of the three winners of the draw will be published and, a few days later, the chosen poster will be presented.
« Dani Pedrosa is the driver who has won the Valencian Grand Prix the most times, seven times, and with twelve podiums he is clearly the one who has achieved the best results in Cheste. With his predominance on the poster, we want to bring our little tribute to a great pilot like him " , said Gonzalo Gobert, the general director of the Circuit.
Dani Pedrosa has won seven times at the Valencian Community Grand Prix: one in 125cc (2002) two in 250cc (2004, 2005) and four in MotoGP (2007, 2009, 2012, 2017), category in which he also obtained two second places (2008, 2013) and two third places (2014, 2015) for a total of eight podiums in MotoGP and twelve in all categories combined.
Le Valencian Community Grand Prix will close the motorcycle world championship on November 16, 17 and 18.
