We're not there yet, of course, but some riders complained during the Friday safety commission that the smoke reduced visibility during the first laps of the MotoGP race.
It is true that these, mainly yellow in color, were until now traditionally used to celebrate the end of the event. However, for some time now, some fans have been lighting them in the formation lap before the start of the Grand Prix.
Dorna therefore asked the pilots to raise awareness among their admirers on this point and, obviously, Valentino Rossi felt particularly concerned by the subject…
It would be a shame if spectators did not respond favorably to this request because, if until now the list of prohibited objects depended solely on the management of each circuit, the general regulations of MotoGP could then put a definitive end to these demonstrations which yet part of Grand Prix folklore…
