Lin Jarvis has reorganized his Yamaha troops for MotoGP until the end of this season, after the retirement announced by Valentino Rossi and the conventional break with Maverick Viñales. Thus, Morbidelli will be Fabio Quartararo's teammate from Misano, a deadline which will see Dovizioso move to the M1 satellite of a Malaysian team which is also reviewing its plans due to the departure of its title investor. The two Italians should be in the same landscape in 2022, which leaves a free Yamaha at Razlan Razali. For who ?
Yamaha had difficulty getting back on its feet after the announcements made by Red and especially, Casa Particular in Viñales. But with Lin Jarvis, the firm has reconstituted a new work base which will go through Morbidely officially and by Dovizioso in support of Razali. Next to the former Ducati rider, we should find Darryn Binder who would therefore make the jump from Moto3 to MotoGP, thus imitating Jack Miller. However, if this choice is the last echo of a sector Petronas which will disappear at the end of this year, it is not necessarily that of Lynn Jarvis who has recently shown that he holds with a firm hand everything that evolves under the Yamaha banner in Grand Prix.

Jarvis adds: " it's not like he can change after being champion this year because the championship ends too late. He is definitely going to compete in the World Superbike Championship in 2022 as well. But why not bring him to MotoGP if he is champion this year and races well next year? ». Jarvis leaves the question open but emphasizes: “ he's a very talented driver, that's for sure ».
