Article updated until the end of the session.

This morning, the Yamahas regained the leadership they had shown last week, with however the undeniable presence of the Hondas of Takaaki Nakagami and Álex Márquez, but the surprise really comes from the two KTMs of the Tech3 team who managed to surpass the two Suzuki in the second part of the top 10.

We cannot see that the latter is getting tighter each time, today spread over less than 4 tenths of a second: in these conditions, there is no question of making the slightest error which would immediately turn into a disaster!

The pilots Franco Morbidelli, Takaaki Nakagami, Fabio Quartararo, Maverick Viñales, Álex Márquez, Iker Lecuona, Álex Rins, Miguel Oliveira, Cal Crutchlow and Joan Mir now have 30 minutes to prepare their bike for racing conditions with a full tank, but also to be as efficient as possible for Q2...

The sky is still pristine and temperatures have risen to 21° in the air and 30° on the ground as the 21 drivers prepare to hit the track again.

Now it's time to go live!
