On the list of Franco Morbidelli, Takaaki Nakagami, Fabio Quartararo, Maverick Viñales, Álex Márquez, Iker Lecuona, Álex Rins, Miguel Oliveira, Cal Crutchlow and Joan Mir already pre-qualified for this Q2 since this morning, Pol Espargaró and Johann Zarco have just been added in Q1.

These are the 12 drivers who will compete for 15 minutes to determine their place on the first four rows of the starting grid for the Teruel Grand Prix, the pre-antepenultimate event of the 2020 season.

The sky is still immaculate this afternoon in Alcañiz and the temperatures of 22° in the air and 31° on the ground should allow for interesting times. The record of Marc Marquez will he be beaten?

1'46.635 Marc Márquez (2015)

When the red lights go out... Alex Rins don't waste a second to benefit from a clear runway.

All the drivers logically chose a soft rear tire while for the front, the choice is more shared:

At the end of the first round, Maverick Vinales imposes 1'47.908.

In the next passage, Takaaki Nakagami achieves 1'47.072, which is faster than last week's pole position. The Japanese pilot precedes Johann Zarco and Fabio Quartararo until Franco Morbidelli precedes the two Frenchmen.

At the end of the first run, the hierarchy is therefore composed of Takaaki Nakagami, Franco Morbidelli, Johann Zarco, Fabio Quartararo, Alex Rins, Cal Crutchlow, Maverick Viñales, Iker Lecuona, Miguel Oliveira, Pol Espargaró, Álex Márquez and Joan Mir.

At the restart, the surprise is that everyone loses a little time and no driver improves his time in his first fast lap...

Takaaki Nakagami is actually the first to light a sector red just 11 seconds from the checkered flag. The Japanese driver achieved the best time of the weekend in 1'46.882, only 2/10 of the record of Marc Marquez.

Johann zarco force too much and loses control of his Ducati at turn number 16 whileAlex Rins managed to progress to third place with his Suzuki thanks to the aspiration of fabio quartararo.

Alex Marquez and Miguel Oliveira have their best lap canceled due to yellow flags being waved for Johann zarco.
