As expected, this morning's FP3 modified the provisional hierarchy established last night and, in the end, it will be Franco Morbidelli, Fabio Quartararo, Miguel Oliveira, Francesco Bagnaia, Aleix Espargaro, Brad Binder, Johann Zarco, Maverick Vinales, Joan Mir and Valentino Rossi who will save themselves the passage to Q1.

In this list which does not include any Honda, Yamaha places its four machines for the first time this season and KTM is making a strong comeback after a difficult start to the year.

The 4-minute FP30 will be fundamental for choosing the tires used during the 24-lap race, but also, for some, starting with Jack Miller, Takaaki Nakagami, Pol Espargaro, Danilo Petrucci and Marc Marquez, to try to prepare for a productive passage into Q1…

La weather forecasts remains lenient with a cloudy but stable sky and temperatures of 27° in the air and 42° on the asphalt which should approach the track conditions of the Grand Prix which will start at 13 p.m., if the latter reaches the anticipated showers between tonight and tomorrow morning.

As the 21 pilots prepare under the lenses of Dorna's cameras, let's enjoy these few minutes of live footage thanks to the official website MotoGP.com :

All time lap record

1'38.680 Jorge Lorenzo 2018

When the red lights go out... Joan mir sets off first on the track, fabio quartararo the last.

Most of the drivers chose the hard rear tire and the medium front, undoubtedly foreshadowing what will happen tomorrow in the race.

Miguel Oliveira finished his first flying lap in 1'41.447 but had to leave the lead to Fabio Quartararo in 1'41.218.

Alex Espargaro gets trapped without gravity at the end of the straight while Fabio Quartararo, one of the rare drivers not to use the hard tire at the rear, took advantage of his advantage by registering 1'39.919 then 1'39.726.

Marc Márquez has no complexes and repeats its tactics from last week...

Meanwhile, The Devil continues its progress in 1'39.681.

A little before mid-session, the Frenchman precedes Maverick Vinales by 3 tenths, then Miguel Oliveira, Johann Zarco, Marc Marquez, Valentino Rossi, Jack Miller, Takaaki Nakagami, Francesco Bagnaia, Pol Espargaro, Danilo Petrucci, Iker Lecuona, Enea Bastianini, Brad Binder, Franco Morbidelli, Jorge Martin, Joan Mir, Alex Márquez, Aleix Espargaro, Luca Marini and Lorenzo Savadori.

Iker Lecuona by fault at high speed in turn number 5. The Tech3 driver seems a little dazed.

fabio quartararo starts his second run with a hard rear tire while Jack Miller breaks the track speed record, at 355,2 km/h.

If a few drivers improve the best time in the first sector, it is again fabio quartararo who then lines up the second, third and fourth to register 1'39.602 at the top of the table.

Jorge Martín minor fall at turn #13.

In the final minutes, no one is able to improve and reduce the gap of at least 4 tenths which separates #20 from the other competitors.

Hard tire or medium tire, it doesn't matter for Fabio Quartararo who has just dealt a blow to the morale of his adversaries...
