When the red lights go out... Maverick Vinales is the first to set off on the track.

The conditions being more than uncertain, most of the drivers started with rain tires while Franco Morbidelli et Valentino Rossi launch directly into slicks while Takaaki Nakagami prefers to wait, just like Lorenzo Savadori recently drafted in Q1.

The sun comes out and many riders return to the box to pick up their second motorcycle equipped with slicks.

Johann zarco, still on rain tires, sets the first benchmark in 1'39.715.

As expected, Franco Morbidelli equipped with slicks achieves the best time on the next pass before being surpassed by Jack Miller also on slicks in 1'35.472.

Halfway through the session, everyone is now on slicks and the hierarchy is made up of Jack Miller in 1'34.374 ahead Pol Espargaró, Fabio Quartararo, Takaaki Nakagami, Marc Márquez, Lorenzo Savadori, Franco Morbidelli, Miguel Oliveira, Luca Marini, Johann Zarco, Valentino Rossi and Maverick Viñales.

Johann zarco then takes command for a few seconds before abandoning it to Jack Miller and Pol I will espargaro in 1'33.150. At this moment, three Hondas are in the top four!

There are three minutes left when Marc Márquez even took the lead in 1'33.037, thus constituting a front row entirely made up of Hondas as it started to rain in the first corner.

This is the moment when Miguel Oliveira fall at the end of the first sector, leading to the appearance of yellow flags and the cancellation of the timed laps.

There is only one lap left when the track becomes free... which allows Pol I will espargaro to fall but above all to Maverick Vinales to seize leadership before ceding it to fabio quartararo in 1'32.600!
