Yamaha or Ducati? Dry or rain? These are the two main questions that arose at the start of the last day of the French Grand Prix, even if they were far from being the only ones, starting with "are we witnessing the return to the forefront of Marc Márquez, or even Honda? ".
The Bugatti circuit and its delicate weather plunge us into total uncertainty as to the progress and result of a race which will take place over 27 laps from 14 p.m. And that's good !
Even if the hierarchy established yesterday in qualifying will probably only last a few seconds, we will still remember that the first three rows of the starting grid are made up of Fabio Quartararo, Maverick Vinales, Jack Miller, Franco Morbidelli, Johann Zarco, Marc Marquez, Takaaki Nakagami, Pol Espargaro and Valentino Rossi.
While waiting to discover the famous Sarthe series “What will the weather be like in two minutes?” » that the 22 actors we will play this afternoon, we are preparing, with this 20-minute warm-up, to experience a particularly rainy episode, with a track completely soaked by rain and temperatures of 12° in the air and 13° in water.
Obviously, the stakes are less important during this last free practice session, but with already 19 falls in the premier category since the start of the weekend (77 in total, not counting those in MotoE), it will be especially important not to Don't relax your concentration!
Let's enjoy these few minutes of live broadcast thanks to the official website MotoGP.com:
