The great homogeneity of the four Yamahas qualified in the first four places last week must have left a little room for the offensives of the Ducati and the KTM this week, on the same World Misano Circuit Marco Simoncelli.

But of course, everyone is in a tight spot and that is why this 20-minute MotoGP warmup will be of great importance to refine certain settings or validate a choice of tires.

The weather conditions that make La Dolce Vita so charming on the Italian Riviera are here, with pristine skies and temperatures of 23° in the air and 21° on the new asphalt. Be careful, however, to warm up the tires well: There were many crashes in Moto3 and Moto2 this morning…

When the red lights go out... It's this time fabio quartararo who sets off first to benefit from a clear track.

Medium at the front and soft at the rear seems to be the tire choice favored by the majority of drivers…

Jack Miller, the only one to use a hard tire at the rear, was unfortunately surprised on his first lap and crashed quite violently.

The Australian pilot, however, appears unhurt.

At the end of the first flying round, it is Johann zarco which records the first reference in 1'34.612.

In the next passage, fabio quartararo takes the best time in 1'33.280, then 1'32.732.

Midway through the session, Franco Morbidelli competes for the best time with Maverick Vinales, but it's Alex Marquez who surprises by putting his name at the top of the ranking in 1'32.402.

Jack Miller managed to leave before the end of the session with his second bike.

The last round sees an attack from fabio quartararo which goes back to third position.
