When the red lights go out...Joan mir rushes first with Marc Márquez in his wheel. The Suzuki driver then tries to let the Honda driver pass but the latter does not intend to play the hare…

So, it is Alex Espargaró who leads the troop, without worrying about the others.

Marc Márquez took advantage of the Suzuki's wake and set the first benchmark in 1'53.566 at the end of the first flying lap.

On the next pass, there are six of them lighting up the sectors in red and it's Jack Miller who leads the ranking ahead Pol I will espargaro, in 1'53.411.

When the drivers relax their effort before changing tires, the hierarchy is made up of Jack Miller, Pol Espargaró, Jorge Martín, Marc Márquez, Enea Bastianini, Aleix Espargaró, Francesco Bagnaia, Alex Rins, Fabio Quartararo, Franco Morbidelli, Joan Mir and Brad Binder.

This is the moment when Brad Binder finally decides to take to the track, four minutes from the checkered flag…

Francis Bagnaia et Marc Marquez then light up the sectors in red, and a bit as usual Marc Márquez took advantage of the Ducati's wake to set the best time in 1'53.283 ahead of the Italian.

George Martín then produces his effort and seems on the verge of repeating his pole positions in Qatar and Valencia last year, this time in 1'53.011.

In extremis, Enea Bastianini takes second position on the grid

With fabio quartararo 11th and John Zarco 13th on the grid, the Qatar Grand Prix promises to be difficult for our two French representatives…

See you tomorrow at 11:40 a.m. for the warm up and at 16 p.m. for the race!
