The Suzuki driver arrives on a track that suits his Suzuki well, but will have to progress in qualifying to hope to aim for the podium on Sunday.

Will this time be the right one? This is whatAlex Rins hopes in any case when arriving in Malaysia for the penultimate Grand Prix of the season. In fact, for five races he has had results well below what he showed at the start of the season, and these are all the more surprising as they arrived after a victory.

During the last five GPs, he has always qualified on the third or fourth row, and by the time he came back, his main rivals had widened a gap that was already far too large to be filled, and Rins had also worn his tires too much. to achieve its ascent.

However, this concern has persisted since last year, and has not prevented him from achieving very good results. But from now on, the Suzuki driver can no longer create any illusions and must absolutely start from the first two rows. This will therefore be his objective again this weekend, in addition to maintaining his third place in the Championship. It won't be easy facing Maverick Viñales, Danilo Petrucci and even Fabio Quartararo, who is only 20 points away.
