Building on his victory in Jerez and at the top of the Championship standings, Marc Márquez arrives more than confident on French soil. However, the Bugatti circuit at Le Mans is not a track that the Cervera driver particularly likes. He also knows that he will have to deal with the oh-so-capricious weather forecast usually in the Manceau sky.

The Honda Repsol rider only has three victories at Le Mans, one victory in Moto2 in 2011 and two victories in MotoGP in 2014 and 2018. He also has two other podiums where he finished third in 125cc in 3 and in MotoGP in 2010.

Looking ahead to the French Grand Prix which is fast approaching this weekend, Marc Márquez declared: “ We had a very positive weekend in Jerez as did the test that followed. However, we must continue our efforts. Between races, I was able to relax a little by going to see the F1 during the Spanish Grand Prix, and during the RB Leipzig match against Bayern Munich at the Red Bull Arena. It was fantastic, the atmosphere and the noise in the stadium was incredible ". The Spanish driver then added: “ Le Mans can be a Difficult Grand Prix, especially with the uncertain weather. We must therefore be ready to face all conditions. Last year I managed to win here, but we still face a lot of competition”.
