MotoGP Marc Marquez “This championship is very open, with many strong rivals who can fight for victory on Sunday”

Winner in 2014 then in 2016 at the Autódromo Termas de Río Hondo in MotoGP, Marc is the most successful rider in this category, compared to Johann Zarco who won twice in Moto2 in 2015 and 2016.

Yamaha also has a good record in MotoGP with a victory for Valentino Rossi and one for Maverick Vinales. But where Marquez clearly dominated his opponents was during the four qualifying sessions where he took all four pole positions.

His teammate Dani Pedrosa has finished on the podium twice in three races: second in 2014 and third in 2016. He did not participate in the 2015 Argentine GP. After the Qatar Grand Prix, Repsol Honda is at the top of the standings by team with 29 points.

According to Marc Marquez, who are " We started the season with a great race and a close podium in Qatar, and we had a positive test in Jerez last week.

“I feel good at the moment, happy with my bike and the way my team is working, but we are only at the beginning of what will surely be a difficult season.

“We have to wait and see how it goes at the different circuits, starting with Termas this Sunday. I love the Argentinian track and I appreciate the atmosphere with the fans, who are always very passionate and supportive, but we must not let our guard down.

“After the excitement of the first race, now is the time to be calm, concentrate and work hard to try to be faster.

“I think this championship is very open, with many strong rivals who can fight for victory on Sunday.

“For now everything seems very even, and during the season we will see who is able to improve and constantly stay in the lead.
