Marc Marquez has expressed his disagreement with the choice of the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya to host the final round of the 2024 MotoGP World Championship. The Spanish rider, despite having achieved a podium in Barcelona earlier in the season, does not consider this circuit to be particularly suited to his riding style.

Marc Marquez, the eight-time MotoGP world champion, recently expressed his wish to see the final round of the 2024 World Championship take place at a different circuit to Barcelona-Catalunya. Although he managed to finish third in the Grand Prix of Catalonia this year after starting from 14th position, Marquez does not hide his preference for other tracks.

Asked about the relevance of the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya for his performance, Marquez replied curtly: " No ", indicating that he is not particularly comfortable on this circuit. Historically, he has won two races on this track in the premier class, in 2014, during his 10-game winning streak, and in 2019, but these victories now seem distant.
