In a symphony of roaring engines and Italian passion, the long-awaited moment finally exploded into the limelight at Madonna di Campiglio. The new Ducati Desmosedici MotoGP racing machine is set to roar onto the track with Pecco Bagnaia and the legendary Marc Marquez at the controls.

This is the first season that the eight-time world champion, Marc Marquez, board the factory's red ship Ducati, after sailing in 2024 with the Gresini Racing team on a Desmosedici GP 23, finishing third in the World Championship. For Marquez, a contract of two years means another chance to take a shot at the title he hasn't held since 2019, before his career was derailed by a terrible injury at Jerez in 2020, where he fractured his right humerus, followed by four operations.

During the presentation, Marquez shared his excitement: “ I said it before, everything is red! It's very exciting, arriving here today I have butterflies in my stomach. I fought a lot against Ducati, but now they made me smile again and being part of the official team is a privilege." With Ducati, he joins the reference team, the one that has dominated the last few seasons. "We want to win everything, we must work as a team. If Pecco doesn't win, I win or vice versa. Let's try to bring back a lot of points and many victories." he added, expressing his desire to maximize the team's performance.

The Spanish champion also stressed that his main objective this season is to rediscover the pleasure of driving. My first short term goal is to having fun on the handlebars, because I know that if I succeed in this, everything else will come. This is the most important challenge of my career. I'm sure we'll have a lot of fun." he said with visible optimism. For him, being part of the official team Ducati means one thing: being competitive in every race, aiming for podiums, and of course, fighting for the World Championship MotoGP.

« I am really happy to wear the official colours of the Ducati Lenovo Team" he concluded. " The working environment has been really fantastic and I can't wait to get back to riding the Desmosedici GP" Marquez also wished to warmly thank the key figures of Ducati, such as Claudio Domenicali, Gigi Dall'Igna, Mauro Grassilli, and Davide Tardozzi, for their trust and the welcome they gave him.

With a 2025 season full of promise, Marc Marquez seems ready to write a new chapter in his career alongside Ducati, a team that has made its drivers shine in recent years.
