This earned him an unprecedented penalty: Bezzecchi was suspended for the Grand Prix, meaning he scored no points at Brno. After Sunday's race, Marquez and Bagnaia gave their opinions.

As a reminder, the story had a rather happy ending: Bezzecchi went to apologize to the race steward and gave him a pair of gloves, which the steward particularly appreciated. After the race, Marquez avoided adding fuel to the fire. « I will not make any further comments, as there is already a lot of noise on social media.But it can happen. We're young. We're learning things in front of millions of people. So, with all that adrenaline, and maybe also the frustration of the accident, of course I think he learned some lessons, but that's all. We learn every day. And most of us are between 20 and 30 years old, so we still have a lot to learn in life. » he declared.

 

 

The same question was put to Pecco Bagnaia, who finished third. His position is complicated because he knows it's ugly, but Bezzecchi is his close friend in the paddock. "I know him very well." I know how adrenaline can affect youThat doesn't erase what he did to the steward, because we can't touch them. They're there to serve us. But the penalty was harsh. A suspension for one race is huge. We've seen many similar things in the past, but we've never seen such a severe penalty, so I just wanted to say that this is truly enormous. » he added.

 

 

This was the second time in his career that Bezzecchi had been penalized for this reason. In any case, this suspension completely reignites the championship.
