Honda wants accountability. It's a rumor that has been circulating for a while and certain interventions seem to give it credence: after having given rein to its staff and perhaps also to Marc Marquez's entourage, Honda would like to know how we were able to ending up with an eight-time world champion retained until 2024, and currently unable to do his job. His bad fall in Jerez followed by an injury that we now recognize, even the driver, poorly managed, forced him to withdraw in 2020 and puts 2021 on dotted lines. But it is also well known that when you seek knowledge in high places, there are heads that fall a few floors below...

Those responsible for Honda would like a clear idea of what led them to suddenly find themselves without Marc Marquez in the box of their factory team MotoGP. With the consequence, the worst season in history ever experienced in the premier category of Grands Prix. A thirst for knowledge which means a search for responsibility. Who wouldn't start from the impressive rise of Marc Marquez à Jerez encouraged by Alberto Puig which painfully ended up in the gravel trap. But rather since this first plate installed which officially gave way following a domestic accident.

The trend is reported by the site InSella.it which reveals that Honda would investigate this rupture of the plate on the humerus of Marc Marquez. Because there would be doubt as to whether the accident occurred while opening a window. A question notably supported by Manuel Pecino, an accredited Spanish journalist. During a few episodes of Franco Bobbiese's PaddockTV show, Pecino spoke about the information in his possession: “ I can say with certainty that Honda wants to understand what happened with that window, they want to know the truth. They want to see if it really happened like that. As far as I know it happened in a different way ».

“At Honda something is going to change. I don't know when, but it will happen."

The Spanish journalist also stated that, according to the information in his possession, Marc was at the time in the company of another MotoGP rider who is believed to be his brother Alex. And that something would have happened that had nothing to do with the opening of a heavy window.

Guest on the show, Livio Suppo, Racing Consultant stated his opinion: “ I don't think the window is a hoax, I think the plate broke because the arm was stressed while riding at Jerez ". The former manager also gave his thoughts on the early return to the Andalusian Grand Prix. “ I remember saying at the time: I hope not. It was crazy, and if I had been Honda team principal, like years before, I would have opposed it, I would have done everything. Instead, I fear that only Alzamora expressed a contrary opinion, that was the real mistake. It was necessary to preserve the phenomenon, championship or not ».

Pecino also stated that, in his opinion, Honda was thinking about his management and that something was going to change. “ I don't know when, but it will happen ", he commented, and it seems that we must understand thatAlberto puig or in the crosshairs.

Meanwhile, Marc Marquez posts on his social network photos intended to be reassuring on a reasoned return to training. If the general opinion is that he does not start the season at Qatar, which will cause him to miss two Grands Prix, a return mid-campaign would be possible.
