It was during the Allianz Night Run in which Marc Márquez took part on Friday evening on the Barcelona circuit that the Spanish driver made some statements to journalists, reported in particular on the website Trademarks.

Oh, certainly, nothing very exceptional but enough to show that the Honda driver does not intend to make the mistakes of the past again, in order to secure his 5th title in the premier category.

Some will call this “do the grocer”, others maturity, but whatever it is, we cannot blame Marc Márquez for the slightest lack of brilliance, quite the contrary, despite his 46 point lead in the championship...

Marc Márquez : “I'm in good shape, physically I'm doing well, and I used the break to try to let my body recover during the holidays. I have trained well and I have perfect physical condition, which is already important, and we will see how this second part of the season goes.
We cannot fall into the error of overconfidence, because although many people have already told me that I am far ahead, there is more than half left. We've done nine races, and there are ten more to go. We must continue with the same intensity as usual. If I had more of a head start, it would be better. You have to know how to reset this advantage in your head, as if it were not there and the points scored were zero.
Last year there were all or nothing races, this year in advance means that if there was a race in the rain or with difficulties, it would be important to score points. You shouldn't waste that lead, but when you have to use it, do it well. The last five races will be essential. More or less the last part of the season, the last five races, will be the ones that will demand the most physically because it is not only the effort on the track, but the trips and commitments accumulate outside. This needs to be managed as best as possible, as it is only two races in a row with a test in between.
The approach will be the same, try to win as many races as possible and if that's not possible, try to score points.
In Brno, Yamaha and Ducati rode well. Of the circuits that remain, this is perhaps the one that doesn't suit us very well, but we did a test there and it went well. There is a way to get through the corners and you have to try to brake late. It is one of the most difficult tracks and it is wide, with several trajectories.
The one who is second (in the championship) is the most dangerous, and that is Valentino. Then Maverick, who is third. They say that the Yamahas are not working well, but in every race they are on the podium, they are second and third, they have potential and we will have to be attentive to everyone, but especially to the Yamahas.
