I don't think it's a secret if I tell you that I love football. I try to play a little game when the opportunity presents itself, but the truth is that I don't find the time I would like to do it. My pilot schedule is very busy and we are always very busy traveling everywhere. The other reason is that if I can choose, I prefer to do offroad (Dirt Track, Motocross, etc.), even if a small part from time to time tempts me.
I have my preferences regarding the time to play, although you know that I adapt to everything. My favorite place for football is always the pitch. I prefer fields, and I have no preference between open air or covered ground, as long as it is grass. I almost never played on the beach, although I suspect many of you know of some great places to play in the sand. The ideal for me in terms of position is to be a winger, because it will not surprise you if I tell you that I am very fast. This is where I have the most fun. Conversely, the position I like the least is being a midfielder. I really don't like it, and I prefer to score goals!
Another job that no one usually wants, not just me, is guard. Sometimes we choose it for the whole match, but usually we change with each goal scored. I have to admit that it's the worst tactic to win a match, because the goalkeeper doesn't show much enthusiasm and it's therefore easier to score hehe.
Sometimes I play with the team if we are at a GP outside Europe. In these cases we arrive on site several days early and we have little time to enjoy. If there is a football field in the hotel we don't hesitate and we put on our shorts! I also play with my friends from Cervera, but it's not very frequent because, as you know, a pilot's schedule is very busy even on vacation. No matter who I play with, I always do it calmly and to have fun. I am, of course, very competitive and I want to win, but if I play football the important thing is to enjoy and have a good time.
Am I playing well? I don't know what to answer, I always try to play as best as possible, score a few goals and, if I decide, do a few dribbles. Concerning football on console, I need to progress. Álex always wins and we get a little angry, but it goes well. It's a healthy rivalry! Hahaha.
