MotoGP: Marc Márquez vs Ducati, the psychological war has begun

The Mugello scenario gave a particular appearance to a title race which promises to be more complex than expected. The basic theory was a duel between Marc Márquez et Andrea Dovizioso, the latter enjoying the unconditional support of other Ducati riders to counter the Honda phenomenon. An idea like Ferrari's Formula 1 version which, however, was shattered during the Italian Grand Prix. On the one hand, during qualifying, we saw a Márquez capable of playing against the Ducati to achieve his ends, and on the other hand, in the race, Petrucci won a victory which cost Dovizioso dearly in points since this last finished behind Márquez…

According to Petrux, now relieved to have opened his MotoGP victory counter, and what's more on his land with an Italian bike, the priority objective is the hunt for Márquez : " With Andrea, we have two very distinct objectives this year. For my part, I was aiming for a first victory. At Mugello the opportunity presented itself, so I took it. I'm really sorry he lost points. This is the teammate of Jorge Lorenzo warned. The psychological war is open but Marc Márquez is not clumsy in the exercise either. The day after the same Italian Grand Prix, he declared: “ if you analyze things carefully, you realize that Petrucci is faster than Dovizioso. And the gap in the championship is only 33 points, so it's another rival for the world championship » He even adds: “ already at Le Mans, Danilo was faster than Dovi, although in the end he failed to pass him.
