Aprilia continues to improve. Since mid-season, the Noale-based firm's bikes have regularly been at the forefront, and Marco Bezzecchi, the only factory rider present, is now fighting for victory at every race. What he's doing is truly impressive, and it delights Massimo Rivola, of course, the team principal. Massimo Rivola is very proud of Aprilia's progress. He now considers the RS-GP to be the best machine on the grid. « On fast circuits it can be considered the benchmark, but we still struggle on stop & go circuits. It's thanks to the work of Fabiano Sterlacchini and the guys. We now have 300 Grand Prix victories after Raul Fernandez's victory. They have the same bikes as us, and we work closely with Davide Brivio. Jorge Martin, present in a few rounds in 2025 but injured most of the time, must regret not taking advantage of this positive dynamic. « I think when he saw this bike, he did the same as me, he said to himself: "shit! "I was curious to see what he could do in Indonesia and Australia, on two circuits he likes. I even thought he could approach Marco's level on these tracks. Unfortunately, we saw what happened in Motegi, so this moment is postponed. » he added.

Aprilia has never been closer to Ducati. The 2026 season will be the opportunity to drive the point home, and, why not, win the coveted world championship title. This sport is brutal, you can't take anything for granted.You have to improve every day. Just because you're a champion and have a lot of talent doesn't mean you shouldn't take every step to get there. Jorge knows that. I am convinced that Martin will fight alongside Marco for the world championship title next year. " he concluded.
