Max Biaggi from time to time goes around the track with a Aprilia, but the last ones left their mark on his mind. They took place in Barcelona, after the Grand Prix of the same name. A Montmelo route that he rediscovered after 15 years of abstinence. And the reunion was joyous…
We can thus read the feeling of the Roman emperor on his social network: “ I recently returned from a track test in Barcelona with my Aprilia X. I still have adrenaline in my body ! It’s been 15 years since I’ve been on the track here. The impact was surreale ".
Interesting times
He adds : " hearing the rear tire scream on the asphalt is music to the ears. Then the stopwatch smiling at me was the icing on the cake. I thank Aprilia Racing and its CEO Massimo Rivola who made this possible. I hope to return to Barcelona soonE.
The times would indeed have been interesting. A speed which motivates this last comment from the six-time World Champion: “ as already said on other occasions, it's torture to still be so fast ».
