Not a week goes by without Marc Márquez not be in the MotoGP spotlight…

Incredible talent but multiple injuries, multiple comebacks, multiple falls and controversial actions, the Spanish champion's last performance at Le Mans did not escape the rule, all being surrounded bya little glamor and many speculations about its future. And in this already very busy kaleidoscope, the Catalan has just added an additional facet by taking an interest in a young talent, Maximo Martínez Quiles.

Who is Máximo Martínez Quiles?

Our most frequent readers already know this young pilot born in Murcia on March 19, 2008, and therefore only 15 years old. At 15, the boy has already won the European Talent Cup in 2021, finished 2nd in 2022 and regained the lead of this championship this year, after achieving a feat during the last round in Valencia (started 25th with a long lap to go, finished first). Incidentally, he placed 3rd last year in the Red Bull MotoGP Rookies Cup, winning 3 races and reaching the podium 7 times!

In short, a real gem of which Spain has the secret and which has visibly aroused the interest of Marc Márquez, the latter not hesitating to train with him last week at Motorland Aragon and to integrate it into Vertical Management SL, the company created in Madrid with his brother álex and the agent Jaime Martinez Recasens following the breakup with Emilio Alzamora. An integration that corresponds perfectly with the name of the company responsible for defending the image and interests of the athletes concerned!

For now, the only managed drivers are the Marquez brothers et Maximo Quiles, which is no small thing when you are 15 years old and declared: “ My idols are Luis Salom and Marc Márquez ».

The lights are therefore all green for the one who started motorcycling at 4 years old and competition at 8, hoping however that this new role of Marc Márquezas an Valentino Rossi in his time, do not rush a career change for someone who has just turned 30…
