This was the feeling that dominated Masini on Sunday evening, as he celebrated this success. « It's a fairy tale that continuesOnly Alex and I know how he trains, how dedicated and committed he is. We're in our third year of working together, and getting here after believing in him so much... all of this is a reward for the work he's put in. You have to focus on the next race, of course, but you also have to enjoy and take advantage of this day.. He's a rider who needs to be re-evaluated. He's a two-time world champion, he's always been at the top. This isn't a surprise victory, but the fruit of incredible regularity » he confided to GP One.

The 25 laps of the race were very long for Michele Masini, as they were for the entire Gresini team. Especially since, at the beginning, Alex Marquez's teammate Fermin Aldeguer was fighting for some interesting positions. « The last nine loops were endlessIt was a unique emotion. That's the beauty of this sport. It's a shame Fermin didn't finish the race, but he also showed great potential. His time will come. I'm super proud of this team." he continued.

Gresini can now be considered one of the best private teams in the history of the MotoGP championship, with no fewer than four MotoGP winners in three years, not including the Sprints. After Enea Bastianini, Fabio Di Giannantonio and Marc Marquez, Alex Marquez is also having his moment of glory. “When we recruited Alex, he believed in it so much, he wanted to fight so much. Sunday was a bit of a culmination of his project. In addition, he is someone who gets along very well with everyone, he is cheerful and likes to make those who work with him smile; We don't put this second to the sporting aspect. It is at least as important in a team like ours." he concluded.
