The contracts of 18 MotoGP riders end at the end of 2024, and among them there is TrackHouse Racing rider Miguel Oliveira, who is optimistic about his future. Certainly, he is focused on his current commitment with Aprilia, and despite a difficult season in 2023, he remains confident in his ability to achieve results with the support of his team. Which does not prevent us from laying down milestones in case a factory knocks on our door...

In a recent interview with Sport TV, Miguel Oliveira expresses his satisfaction at being at Aprilia and the appreciation he feels for the team's efforts to provide him with a completely new factory motorcycle. He is determined to return this trust to Aprilia by achieving positive results on the track: “ seeing the confidence they have in me and all the effort they put into producing parts and a completely new factory bike for me, it gives me a lot of confidence. Right now what I'm focused on is return all that trust to Aprilia with results » announces the teammate Raul fernandez.

However, regarding his future, the Portuguese is open to listening to proposals from all manufacturers. He also points out that he was approached by most of them, which speaks to his value as a pilot.

He is convinced that he can achieve good results if he has the right equipment, and he is ready to let things unfold naturally in the negotiation process for his next contract: “ regarding the future, I am open to KTM, but also to all other manufacturers. I have naturally been approached by almost everyone, so they know my value, and I know that I can obtain good results if I have all the materials at my disposal ».

'Não tenho dúvidas algumas que serei um piloto apreciado par qualquer equipa de paddock' – Miguel Oliveira

Miguel Oliveira: “ I have always left very good relationships with all the teams I have worked with, and a good impression »

He adds : " I will let things happen naturally. I think this is the best way to do it. Fortunately, and also thanks to my professional driving, I have always left very good relationships with all the teams I have worked with, and a good impression, so I have no doubt that I am a driver appreciated by n any team in the paddock ».

Although he makes no secret of his desire to join a factory team, Olive tree also expresses its optimism with regard to the project of TrackHouse Racing with Aprilia. He recognizes the appeal of being involved in the development of the bike and new parts, and is curious to see how this format will work.

For now, his focus remains on improving his performance and achieving positive results with his current team: “ it's very tempting to be in a factory team, in terms of image, like being very close to the development and the new parts that come from the bike. I think the format that Aprilia creates with TrackHouse is very interesting. So, I want to see how things go, but I'm very optimistic about this project ».

Then he finishes: “ we just have to let things happen naturally, understand what the potential of this team is, and whether I will have better conditions and weapons in a factory team, that's what we will have to find out this season. But for now, my focus is really on results, on being in good physical condition, and to have all the equipment available to do it ».
