MotoGP: Miguel Oliveira gets involved in Superbike!

Miguel Oliveira is an official KTM rider who is competing in Moto2, will go to MotoGP and will be in Superbike at Portimao!

Miguel Oliveira was undoubtedly one of the pilots who did not regret the cancellation of the last British Grand Prix. With his KTM, he had indeed qualified 24rd and despite a good warm-up, the race at Silverstone looked complicated for the one who is playing for the world title against bagnaia. The fact remains that the one who will be a MotoGP rider on a KTM from the Tech3 team in 2019 has decided to discover Superbike…

And not just anywhere: on its national route of Portimao, which will host the category, future playground of Barbera and Bautista, from September 14 to 16. Unconsciousness? Nope. But implication, yes. Because Miguel Oliveira will field a WorldSSP300 team on home soil.

In fact, the pilot Pedrosa Fragoso will debut in the FIM Supersport 300 World Championship as a wild card and within a team headed by Miguel Oliveira, on the occasion of the ninth round which will take place at the Autodromo Internacional do Algarve.

fragrant has been evolving since 2016 with the Oliveira Cup motorcycle school. He said of this opportunity: “ I am very grateful to the Miguel Oliveira Fan Club for offering me this chance to participate in a World Championship event. I feel like I am better prepared to take on this challenge. I want to seize this opportunity and play my part to show what I am capable of. I believe a lot in my team, and I'm sure we will get a good result. I would like to thank my family, who is always there with me, as well as all those who support me »
