Joan Mir is the 2020 MotoGP World Champion and it is therefore with scepter and crown that he will be identified throughout this year 2021. A new status which is also a responsibility, which generates new pressure. His words are also a little more scrutinized and he knows that he is emerging victorious from a particular campaign where the title holder was unable to play his cards. On the new appearance of the field and its challenges, he spoke and it appears that the Suzuki official wants to see everyone on the track again for a big fair fight...

Joan mir, at 23, has already achieved his supreme goal which is the title of MotoGP World Champion. How will he digest this outcome? For certains, this is only the beginning of an epic, for others, it will be a difficult stage to negotiate, with more pressure. During a long interview with Tuttosport, the Spaniard declared: “ I'm young in a young project, so we can still grow and improve a lot. At Suzuki they work very well and from year to year the bike gets better and better. I honestly expect Marc Marquez to come back like before, I hope Valentino doesn't stop and Dovi finds a ride. However, I admit that it will be difficult for all these things ».

Mir: “I want Marquez to come back strong”

Mir then spoke of his great idol, Valentino Rossi : " I really wish Valentino wouldn't stop. He has always been my idol, since I was a child and I love being on the track with him. Even if someone still says he should retire for me, he's doing great things. For me, he still has a lot to prove, goals to achieve, like the 200th podium in MotoGP ».

Finally, the pilot Suzuki concluded : " but there is another thing that I ardently wish: that Marquez comes back strong, I'm counting on it. To beat him, though, we have to improve, I think we are close, very close. The newcomers are all very talented and they all board the Ducati, a winning bike that in recent years has become easier than before ».

Joan mir is therefore happy for everyone to whom he wishes the best. A good soul, but also a beautiful intention: that of beating everyone consistently to silence once and for all the grumpy people who support the theory of a 2020 title certainly acquired, but having less value than the others, conquered over the course of a season accomplished all around the planet and in the face of complete adversity.

Joan Mir wants to find everyone in great shape on the track in 2021...
