Jack Miller

Between Jack Miller and the Misano route the relationship has never been successful in racing. His best result since he was a Grand Prix driver there is a sixth place in 2017. There is therefore revenge to be taken on fate for the Australian in this fourteenth meeting of the season. Precisely, the GP21 has often shown this year that it can overcome the Indian sign…

The balance sheet of Jack Miller in Misano since he was a pilot MotoGP is not what you would call exciting. Fortunately, before, there was the edition 2014, the year the Australian qualified on pole to finish third in the Moto3 race. What followed was less encouraging. In 2015, he finished 12th in MotoGP after losing places late in the race when his bike experienced electrical problems. He qualified 17th in 2016 but retired on Sunday morning after problems with his injured hand during the Austrian Grand Prix.

In 2017, Miller was 14th on the grid and finished the race in sixth position. In 2018, he qualified in second position and, with Lorenzo from pole position, it was Ducati's fifth one-two finish on the grid in MotoGP and the first in consecutive Grands Prix. He crashed on lap 3 at turn 14 while riding in fourth position. In 2019, he qualified in 16th position after struggling with the tires, but managed to finish the race in ninth position as the second Ducati rider.

During the San Marino Grand Prix 2020, he qualified third and remained third at the start of the race before dropping back down and eventually taking ninth place before being classified eighth due to the penalty of Nakagami, and after suffering with his tires on the left side.

Jack Miller remembers Quartararo's visor protection

During the Emilia-Romagna Grand Prix 2020, he qualified in second position after passing through Q1, but abandoned the race after his air filter swallowed a visor protection of Quarterly in the second round.

Despite this real black series, the pilot in red Jack Miller, after finishing the Aragon Grand Prix in fifth position, is ready for the San Marino and Rimini Riviera Grand Prix, the fourteenth stage of the 2021 World Championship. I'm delighted to be back in Misano! » enthuses the teammate Pecco Bagnaia who takes the upper hand in the Ducati box. “ It's our second home race and the atmosphere is always incredible, with our fans present on the Ducati grandstand ».

« Last Sunday's Aragon Grand Prix didn't go exactly as we hoped, but in the last few races, my feelings about the Desmosedici GP have been very positive and that makes me very confident! I am determined to finish our home Grand Prix with a good result! ". At championnat, Jack Miller does not catch up with the leaders in the running for the title, but on the other hand sees the threat growing Aleix Espargaró on his Aprilia while keeping an eye on Brad Binder and his KTM.
