Misano

Francesco Bagnaia continues to reign supreme at the Misano circuit by setting the fastest time in practice for the MotoGP Emilia Romagna Grand Prix. The Ducati rider completed a lap in 1'30.286s, improving on his own record set two weeks ago at the same venue.

However, this session was not easy, marked by numerous falls and yellow flags disrupting the rhythm of the drivers. George Martin, the championship leader, also suffered a crash at Turn 8 as he tried to push his limits. Fortunately, the rider Pramac escaped unscathed and secured his place in Q2 despite this mishap.

Marc Marquez, on the Ducati GP23 Gresini, took third place despite a session marked by some difficulties. He had to change bikes to achieve his best lap, showing his determination to remain competitive. Enea Bastianini, fourth, also suffered a fall at the end of the session but without serious consequences.

fabio quartararo, for its part, continues to give hope to Yamaha with a solid fifth time. The Frenchman seems to have regained competitiveness on this circuit, a performance that could mark a turning point in his season.

bagnaia showed his intention to dominate from the start of the session, setting a first reference time of 1'30.924s after just 15 minutes. Martin briefly took the lead with a time of 1'30.844s, but this lap was cancelled due to a yellow flag, caused by a crash.Augusto Fernandez. A few moments later, bagnaia responded with his record time of 1'30.286s, an untouchable time for the rest of the session.

The end of the session was marked by a series of falls, including that of Fabio DiGiannantonio at turn 9. The driver VR46 fell hard into the gravel, heightening concerns about his already injured shoulder. If his condition allows him to continue, he will have to go through the Q1 after finishing 13th in the trials.

Despite the incidents, Marc Marquez fought for an excellent third time, while Maverick Vinales et Aleix Espargaró have secured a place in Q2 for Aprilia. Pedro Acosta, despite falling at the start of the session, managed to qualify directly for Q2, being the only driver KTM to do it.

Other KTM riders, including Jack Miller et Brad Binder, all suffered falls during this session. Miller finished 11th, just outside Q2, while Binder could not do better than 15th. Alex Marquez, victim of an accident, finished 14th, and Miguel Oliveira, faced with technical problems, could not do better than 16th.

Johann zarco, on the Honda LCR, took 12th place, whilealex rins was absent due to health problems.
